COLLEGE OF WILLIAM AND MARY. Named after the organization founded at the college, this Hall is home to the theater, dance and music departments of which Glenn Close and Linda Lavin are graduates. The William and Mary Concert Series, held each year, has performances by nationally and internationally known performers. Be sure to check the schedule while you are in town.

Since 1957, the Williamsburg Players have been producing five or six shows each season in their 115-seat theater. Their plays are a mixture of the well known and the avant-garde, and the acting goes way beyond what is found in many local volunteer theater ensembles.
